It was back down to the south coast this weekend for our trip to the Adur track near Shoreham. The guys there always make us really welcome and a big thankyou to them for all their help over the weekend. It would be a nice track to try and get to over the winter if possible, I know we would be welcome.

The weather was looking a little iffy for this weekend, but to be fair we were generally pretty lucky on both days only getting a few showers here and there. But due to the weather reports for Sunday we decided to go for 2 rounds of qualifying and try and add a bonus final on the end if the weather permitted. This way everybody got plenty of racing. This turned out to be a good move as we were packing up it started to rain and then within about 15mins down the road it hammered it down.

There was some good racing on Sunday, particularly with the front runners in both Superbike and Stock. Peter, Steve and Matt in Superbike, swapping places regularly. In the stock class Scott and Peter, both vying for the championship made sure that they pushed each other around. The nitro guys, always crowd pleasers, fought hard as well. The track being in a public park provides quite a good podium for us to show to the public. I reckon if the sun had been out, there would have been more of them.

Still, everyone had a good time and we now move on to the finale at Halifax – where its everything to play for in the Championships. Full results can be found here.

Cheers Andy
