Congratulations to KPD team drivers Colin McCabe British Superbike Champion 2008 and Steve Newey British Supersport Champion 2008.
KP09N-2 and KP09E-2 wins yet again - Cotswold National meeting - 10 August 08
We were running what we now believe is our final development of both the Super bike and the Nitro bike at the Cotswold meeting which was a mixture of wet and dry. The performance of both machines was superb in both conditions. The nitro bike winning its final by a clear 5 laps. Congratulations got to Colin McCabe for the superbike and James Crunden for the Nitro wins.
KP09N-2 wins again - Mendip National meeting - 1 June 08
The latest version of the KP09N-2 has even better handling than the previous one. We are now looking to beat the lap times of the best superbikes with a bit more setting up. The engine is still a standard Picco .12 but we have built some unique features in to the chassis that gives the smooth handling similar to an electric superbike. The introduction of this new layout means that its availability to the general public is delayed as we feel we must get everything perfect before we offer it for sale.
KP07s Wins WC warm up race at Almusafes Spain - 19 May 08
Congratulations to Fede Portal Vidal 1st place and Alan Biescas 2nd place.
KP09N-2 Wins British National Meeting - Halifax & Brooklands
We have been very pleased with the performance of the 2 stroke bike during our testing, but we did not want to commit it to production until it was raced it at a British National meeting We are happy to report that it was used by Dave Andrews at Halifix , where it took 1st place, and by James Crunden at Brooklands where it easily took 1st place
The new Nitro bike is being renamed as KP09N2-2 for the pro version of the 2 stroke. We can assure everyone that with the Picco15 it has outstanding performance.
The 4 stroke version will follow later when we have overcome the engine problem we have at the moment..
